Miss Megatron will not lay

I have 3 beautiful lovely chooks
Princess Aurora our RIR has laid everyday since we got her without fail

2 have been broody forever and came out of it about a month ago
Lady AhAh our dark sussex came back to her happy egg a day but Miss Megatron  :chook: our Light Sussex is very hit and miss
She either lays an egg, lays a double yoker or doesn't lay at all. And in about even measures!
We have no idea why, the others seem fine
She does have a floppy comb from time to time though
She is eating and carrying on as normal - any ideas?
Miniature Falabella, Pygmy Goat, 2 Glouster Old Spots, 1 Long Island Red, 1 Light Sussex, 1 Dark Sussex, 1 Silkie, 1 Magpie Duck and hopefully some more chicks and ducklings due to hatch soon!

That's just how it is with chickens you can't make them lay. We have light sussex and rhode islansd reds and I'd say the RIR are more consistent layers. Sounds like your birds are kept like pets so not really a problem if they don't churn out an egg every day. We try to keep a "no passengers" policy but it's hard to single out poor performers in a flock so they usually get away with it. The simple answer is if you want more eggs get more birds :)

I've always found taking a packet of paxo in to the coop at bedtime, showing it to the offender and giving them a bit of a talking to works wonders too  ;) :-J
But a bit of poultry spice on their feed or Lifegard solution in the water might help too.
