Are carrot tops and runner bean pods OK?

I have one goat who desperately tries to snatch carrot tops and another who is keen to get to runner bean pods.  Are they safe to give in small quantities?

Yes, so long as they are chopped small to prevent choking. They also like runner bean and pea haulms (?sp) and as our goat paddock is next to our veggie patch I can just bung the empty runner bean bits over once they've finished growing  :)

Mine love both.  Yesterday they enjoyed some bean plants that my friend had cut down.
