 Hi, from soggy Fife! Although a new member, I've been dipping into TAS for years but somehow never signed up!
We grow some veg and a little fruit, have kept hens for 11 years and at last count we had 16 plus two cockerels, five runners ducks, two saddleback x and a dog (not for the table lol) oh...and three children!
I'm a gardener by trade and love my ornamentals and trees, veg was fairly new to me and still not my passion but it's smugly satisfying having  a three course meal harvested from your garden! :yum:

 Hello from sunny Yorkshire.  I agree that there is nothing like growing your own fruit and veg -much more flavoursome than supermarket bought.
Doing that swan thing - cool and calm on the surface but paddling like crazy beneath.

I love growing my veg but I really need to learn about the ornamentals and trees. You will have loads of questions fired at you ;D

...and hello from near Lauder, we're half hour south of Edinburgh, originally from Dundee, you should fill in your map location on your personal details - its always handy when you have livestock!

Thanks for the welcome, I've pinned the map roughly for my location.
I'll do my best to answer queries on plants, in keeping with the spirit of TAS! With the recent weather we've had I think the plan For next year will be to create an ornamental bog garden and try growing rice in the veg patch!

   Hi and welcome from soggy Shropshire.  Making plans like that should guarantee a dry summer.   ;D
