WANTED - Sow or Gilt - Mid-Devon
« on: July 29, 2012, 11:52:03 pm »
Hi,

I'm looking for another breeding sow. It can be in-pig, just weaned, or ready to go to the boar, i'll take anything. I may also be able to buy two weaners, and then grow them up together, but at the moment, I have no others to put it with, so would have to buy two.
Gilts or Sows, I'm not fussed. Not bothered about it being registered either.

Please let me know if you have any for sale, coming up for sale, or know of any, as I want to get it soon.

NB - I'm not stuck to any breeds; but I have my preferences - as we all do!  :P

Thanks for looking, any info would be great; please leave me email, address etc, pm me if better for you.

Thank you

Morning

We have two osb gilts from the Dandy/Clarence bloodlines. (one is looking as though she is eleigible for pedigree registration). Also a boar with this litter is available.
We also have an Elsie sow that has just farrowed that I will be looking to sell once the piglets have been weaned as I want to bring in a different bloodline. (Would consider selling her with her litter to the right home - piglets currently 4 days old)
We are currently on a 21 day standstill due to having a visiting sow for servicing.  We will be off standstill on the 12th August and the two gilts will be 16 weeks old at that time.
We are near Wadebridge, down in sunny Cornwall (well its sunny as I type this!!)
Email [email protected].
Regards

Sorry about getting back to you all so late! Haven't had the time - been weaning piglets, and chasing them back into their pens!!  :P
Could you tell me how much they cost? Message me if you don't want to broadcast. Thanks.
