Lamby attacked by Dog
« on: July 17, 2012, 07:00:06 am »
Well, he seems very well.  He didn't have pnemonia, he had KC TERROR!!! cos everytime I come near him I either stick a needle in him or a thermometer up his bum.... neither of which is on his list of favourite items.

His temperature is down to 39.9, it was 40.4 and he is eating well (loves sultanas!) and still isolated with one other lamb for company.

:fc:  he seems like he's going to get over this.

At the moment, because the wound is stapled, I am peering at it intently but doing nothing else, I just put a bit of citronella on the fur around to keep flies away.

Should I be doing anything else?

Thank you for all of your help here, otherwise I really think I would have had a dead lamb and lots of guilt.
 ;D :bouquet:
