Ask most smallholders and they would say you only need one:

This was my first sheep book and I love it... basic enough to not knock you for 6 but not too easy/basic that its not useful a year on or so!

From 3 to 30 and still flocking up!

Go direct to the publishers - Good Life Press. They may have one or two copies left. It has been so popular that the first print run has virtually sold out. Reprint due in time for the Scottish Show.

We have got a few copies left - seriously looking at putting them on Ebay to see what we get for them. Can't see why everyone else should make vast profits from Tim's book.

Got to agree Tim Tynes book is excellent - covers so much more than just the sheep. I also have
'Practical Sheep Keeping by Kim Cardell' that is also great.

have a look at the site's book reviews - sorry can't do links on mobile. Introduction to Sheep by someone & Soden, i think it is, is a good get you started book if you can't get Tim's at the moment
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

Quite right too, demand + scarcity = profit, and you should be first in line!

The best two sheep books I have are The Sheep Book for Smallholders by Tim Tyne and Sheep Health, Husbandry and Disease by Agnes Winter and Clare Phythian (both vets.)
