Potato prices will soar this year - be warned.

The weather last year wiped out many crops and seed potatoes are in very short supply.....

Maybe we all change to eating more rice.  That must have surely grown well last year.

That interesting - do the slug pellets in the ground work?  I haven't used slug pellets for about 25 years and although I have lots of hedgehogs and toads, they don't get to those little slugs which live underground so I might be tempted to try them.  What "brand" do you use

I have used nemotodes in the past, but they are so expensive to use on a large garden.

Tatties are still great value for money. They were over £10 a bag back in 1976/77. What else can you buy today at the same price as it was back in the 70's?

The drought was in 1976.  I remember it well as I was pregnant.
