Very friendly lamb

Is anyone looking for a pet grass cutter?  I have a bottle-fed wether lamb (no longer on the bottle) who is soooooo friendly but he was one destined for market  :( . I am keeping some ewes but he is superfluous to requirements.  However, I don't think I am going to be able to take him  :-\ .

This little boy was suffering from hypothermia as he was born during the cold snap we had; and I had to take him in to warm him up and bottle feed.  His mum didn't want to know when I tried to re-introduce them.

I haven't many ram lambs and am running at a huge loss this year, due to having bought various sheep handling equipment, losing three pedigree sheep and three lambs - so I'd have to ask for market price for him.  He's a Ryeland x Charollais.

What is market price for a pet lamb of this age and type? You could only find out by taking him to market and this is what you are trying to avoid. Better to set a price you are happy with. He is lovely.

He's a little stunner.  Did you find a home for him?   :sheep:
Doing that swan thing - cool and calm on the surface but paddling like crazy beneath.

I'm looking for £50 for this lamb.  I have been told cades fetch around £40 (in this area anyway) so if I kept this lamb till he was ready for market his value (going by my past lambs) would be at least £60-65.

I would love to buy your little wether.  I live in Warwickshire.  I have 10 pet sheep kept on 3 acres with a field shelter.  Yesterday I was devastated to discover my dear little 3 month old lamb dead.  He was a tiny Southdown cade lamb I had reared from 2 days old with a companion cade lamb, and she is missing him very much.
