I had a hen who got off her eggs to sit on newly laid ones ::) , her eggs went cold but I put her back on them and one did hatch. I would think its worth trying an incubator. What a b****r about your duck though. Sometimes livestock are nothing but heart ache. I wonder what happened  ???

Sorry.

Worth trying. One of our hens decided to hatch some eggs in the hedge last year. She was off the eggs for long periods of time and when we went and checked them they were stone cold on many occasions.  Never thought they would hatch but most did.  ;D
