Anything other than puppy milk may upset their tums as will changing brands. They should not be costing you too much as they should be having the milk phased out and be on solids only in 2-3 weeks anyway.

Good quality food promotes brain development and so widens their capacity to learn when older.

Neutrition is essential to a dog in its first year for so many reasons including joint health and temperament and train ability.

I'd get them off milk asap so by 5 weeks they r on solids.

You will  now also be in charge of socialising them. So carry them around and get them used to noises and having lots of people handle them etc.

I also start to wean pups at 3 weeks soaking some cobby dog puppy kibble in water, I use hot water but then cool it with goats milk as the kibble softens quicker with hot water.....then slowly they will want it less sloppy, Cobby dog is for working dogs so VAT free and cheaper, around £20....they love their goats milk and pups will need a feed every 4 hours, they usually correspond to our meal times, and as they grow they will not need a night feed, last meal at supper time......I love having the little doggies around, so much fun!

I would agree with what has already been said.  Nutrition in young pups is so important.  I would continue to give them multimilk as one  meal a day but work at weaning them on to solids over the next couple of weeks.

Any new piccies  ;D

Will they all be working dogs, CF? is there an age where you decide who makes the grade and who (if any) are destined to be non-working?
