Sorry I keep boring you with the tales of my boys, but they really do crack me up with some of the things they do.
We have a huge pile of firewood in our barn, it must be 8ft high. Both boys but Billy especially, make a beeline for it when I let them out, and climb all over it looking for tasty bit of bark. I have my heart in my mouth, worrying that they will fall down.
However, the other day, we had the fright of our lives when Billy jumped up onto the windowsill of our lounge to look in at us. We live in a small stone cottage, and the windows are very small! Then it was up, down, up, down until it was dark. Yesterday, Toby was looking longingly at Billy on the sill, and as soon as Bill got down, Toby jumped up. Well, Toby is a LOT fatter than Billy, so there was a huge thud as he made the leap. Billy then decided that he had had long enough up there, so jumped up too. They then proceeded to have fisticuffs so that one would get down. Billy, the lighter of the 2 , didn't stand a chance bless him. Thankfully, today was "wet play time" so I hope that they work out their windowsill rights before they are let out again! I got some great photos of them, so I hope to post some before long.

bless them, thats great!

We "park" our wheelie bin by the kitchen window .... which I didn't really clock until the cats frightened me by tapping on the window & playfighting on its lid!

I have a small pile of breeze blocks in the goat yard for Curry to jump on them.  It is by the base of a dead magnolia tree - dead because you know who stripped the bark.  Curry uses the block mountain to get higher up the tree for the odd bit of bark still remaining.  I'm amazed he can stretch up so far.

Well they've really started something now! We had the boys out this afternoon, and their new game was running up and down the garden at about 90kmh, then when they got to the window, they took a running dive on to the windowsill, then jumped down and carried on running. Even Toby, the got equivalent of a barrel, was sprinting up there like an olympic gymnast. If nothing else, its keeping them both agile and fit. It should be fun when the summer comes and the windows are open. The rate they jump up, they will be taking a flying leap into the lounge.
As well as laughing my head off at the boys escapades, I always get sad that my dear old mum didnt get to see them. She was a huge animal lover and I just know that she would have adored watching them.
