Where's that previous thread on being accident prone???

I have, today, slipped on the water slopped over the sides of the dogs water-bowl....landed hard on my elbow and bum,  and broken my little finger!!!

I know its broken 'cos i can feel it grinding and its swollen and misshapen, I cant go to A&E cos i need to work tomorrow!! Argh!!

So being a tough old bag i'll just strap it up myself at the weekend and untill then just grin and bear it!!

Oh no you poor thing.  Make sure you strap it up properly because I'm guessing you don't want it to mend crooked.

Yeah, don't go to A&E. I broke the middle finger on my left hand, set it myself and it's fine. A year or so later, I broke the ring finger on by right hand, went to A&E (I knew it was broken this time - first time, I just shoved it back into place) and it's set crooked and has a lump in it 

Poor you though - give yourself a treat to make you feel better

Painkillers and set it yourself .  Then use comfrey cream or the gel .
I have bust most of mine , all work ok and look fine and all set myself .
 I must get a book on home surgery next !

Hope it isn't too painful !

yeh, this ones a homer!! if i was to go to A&E i would end up having to be off work for weeks!! I will have to work without a splint tomorrow tho. The gloves dont fit over two fingers trapped together...

i also have a riding lesson on Sunday

It may only be the pinky - but I am sure you'll notice every time you try and pick something up or catch anything how much you use it
