 Puddle are one Aylesbury  :&>  is limping - did not see her do anything to hurt it but is not putting pressure on it, is sitting a lot and holds it up in the air.  Checked her over and all feels ok.  Vets have not been any usse with chickens so not really keen to take her there!  Any ideas on how best to "treat"?  Thanks

Ducks legs are very weak, so she might have caught her leg in something, struggled to escape and wrenched her leg.  Normally they just get over this, but make sure she is getting enough to eat

I have read that a limping duck is a sign it needs to be wormed, but I can't speak from experience here.

I have occasionally had limping ducks but as my run is on a hill I generally blamed that and found that taking them off the hill and keeping them in a confined space they recovered.

 Thanks for the replies.  Ducks/Chooks have all just been wormed.  We are wondering if she hurt er leg on the ramp from the bath so we have made it wider with more rungs to help when getting out.  Will keep an eye on if she is eating.  Also going to put some arnica cream/gel on her leg to see if that helps.    :&>
