Hi Chris

I spent 8 years wishing for a smallholding and spent days with my neighbour who was a sheep farmer so I could get a feel for the life (just made me want it even more!) Finally our dream came true in 2009 and we moved to our current home, a victorian farmhouse in need of lots of TLC and renovation with about 4 acres of hilly land.  an over grown vegetable garden  and a plum tree orchard with over 70 trees.  Its been hard work and we are NOwhere near finished (nor do I think we ever will be LOL!) but there's nothing nicer than leaning over your fence watching the sheep and goats as the sunsets and drinking a glass of homemade plum wine  ;D  stick with it, you'll get there and it will be wonderful!
Smallholding in Worcestershire, making goats milk soap for www.itsbaaathtime.com and mum to 4 girls,  goats, sheep, chickens, dog, cat and garden snails...
