 :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
yesterday being a lovely day we put the 6 week old  turkeys outside......... all penned up with sheep hurdles and chicken wire to give them smaller area to start with. Also had netting over the top and they joined our earlier 2 poults (who have been out for a few weeks).......
came in at 7pm and went back out about 9.30......chicken wire loose and found baby bert (older poult) dead outside the enclosure..... also only 7 babies left..........  :'( :'( :'( :'(
(thought it may be a dog, then a cat....... my OH saw a fox later)

oh, how awful  :(   and  good luck to the survivor

fox sounds likely...
we lost 3 young chicks to a bl**dy rat earlier this year, found them in tunnel underneath.
