Hello fellow smallholders.

I've been on here around 5/6 months now. I just felt this was the best area to mention my new blog I've started writing. Purely for my own sanity (no ads, commercial gain or owt like that!) I just started writing about my experiences from my perspective being from the City for most of my life...

Anyway, if you're interested/bored you're more than welcome as is any feedback and (constructive!) criticism.

I find this forum invaluable for me and my experiences!

Hi welcome from France, where up until last week it was so dry wellies were a thing of the past, and wearing plastic sandals for all the jobs.  Back in the wellies now!!!  Loved your blog, especially the pastels with pink wellies  :D

Welcome from me in France too. Especially interested in your fox story. We lost our last 2 chooks to a fox yesterday, one of the girls was taken just ouside our kitchen door. Can you believe that!!

Just one thing, hope you dont mind me saying, I found that after reading about 3 days worth of blogs, the pink type started to hurt my eyes. It may just be me, so dont take it as a criticism, Ill just have to pace myself and read less each day.

Well done though on a very entertaining bit of writing. Keep up the great work..with more piccies too!

No, not just you NM.  I read a bit of your blog, melholly, when you first started posting on here and echo NM's thoughts.  Very much enjoyed the stories and the writing style but really couldn't cope with the pink type.  No doubt it's my age... sorry!  (Need a self-defacating icon, Dan!)  (And anyone who doesn't understand why I said that, please go and read about plums' bad week and cheer her up - and cheer yourself up reading Rosemary's story in that topic!)

Ok I've confused myself now, I think I'd better go and have a lie down...

Aww bless u all! Thank u! I'll perhaps alternate my pink with another colour (maybe lilac) to save sore eyes!
You see why I can't tweet - I love writing, couldn't restrict myself to 180 characters! Especially when so much amazing nature stuff is happening!
I love I have people reading from France, am so honoured and humble to be on this forum surrounded by far superior people in smallholding!

I suffer from a form of colour blindness, I have to change some coloured print on computer before I can read them.  Pink oddly is ok.
