We have Kune Kunes (plus piglets  ;D ), ducks, chickens, turkeys, bees & Setters.  We have planted a small orchard & are growing veg in 3 raised beds since moving here in the snow February 2010.

Welcome from a finally dry & sunny day in north Cumbria

BH is out cutting grass.  Hurrah!!!  This last few days BH has stood for Bear with sore Head...  ::)

We're beef & sheep farmers, smallholding on the side - Jersey house cow, pig (hopefully soon to be plural), Fell & Dales ponies, a few choox.  No ducks as the mink took all my beautiful Muscovies and I can't bear to have that happen again.  3 working collies.

What sort of piggies are you getting?

Hopefully we will be getting either Berkshire's or Oxford sandy & black pigs but at the moment i cant find either within an hour of us, If anyone knows of any i would appreciate being pointed in the right direction.

Cheers

You could try a posting on the pig forum on here Richard, alternatively have a look at the Breed websites - they usually list contact details of their members.

I think Truffle's in your part of the world, she got some OSB weaners I think?  Don't know how near or far the breeder is - if she pops in, ask her!

My girl is an OSB and is hopefully in pig to a Saddleback.  Due September.  But I am WAY more than an hour from you!
