Can anyone please tell me how long geese sit for,1 of my geese has desided to sit on a nest on the edge of the pond she has been there so far about a week but when fingers crossed will we see some goslings?

I am quite surprised really as they have been laying since January.

It's usually about 30 days. Our Chinese geese pipped on the 28th day and hatched on the 30th day.

I reckon longer than that, mine (Steinbachers) sit for about 35 days, as do many other breeds of geese.
