I can't yet predict whether I will be able to get up there - as a spectator only - but if I could get away, depending on what BH is doing, I might look at public transport or, if anyone else would be crossing the A69, maybe could cadge a part-lift?  (We only run one vehicle, so unless he is not going anyotherwhere and can spare the vehicle, or decides to come too, I'd be looking at alternative ways of getting there and back.)
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

Hi Lillian
Well done getting pig classes at the show  ;D.  Hope they prove popular and you can get some more shows in Scotland having piggies.  If we were a bit nearer we would have come along to support it but just a bit far for a one day show.  Wishing you the best of luck for a successful event  :)

Would love to see some photos of your Hampshire x Tamworth when you get them, that's what I was planning in the future to do with one of the gilts, the other breed pure  ;D
Ones a Judy, the other is a Precious.  No not weighed them, the Judy gilt has a huge backside though compared to the Tamworths, she looks like J Lo  :D
