I can only imagine how hard things are for you at the moment.......but hang on in there, you are both doing just great.  Not long now till the end of the treatment .......

I know my Mother in law was very weak while havng treatment, and she said she has a metallic taste in her mouth.  Phil her hubby used to take her yoghurts, and nice desserts which were about all she could take for a whle - oh, and she was not a drinker, but said stout was one of the few drinks she could actually taste

Sorry i've not replied sooner faith  :bouquet:  :-*
my thoughts have been with you both and hugs being sent to you all
its hard when you can't be there all the time and minds get over active with absence and tiredness so its difficult to rest and keep yourself well.
i'm pleased the animals are giving you support..... my OH and pigs take it in turns to 'counsel' me they are all good listeners and put things into perspective...... i wanted to dash back to Oz to help mum, (she has to wait another few days -again- as they have changed their mind about the treatment she needs)
so its 6 weeks and still no treatment yet!!!! :(
hopefully we'll both have positive outcomes, and remember treatment is like climbing a mountain......bloody exhausting both mentally and physically and we often need help, but when we get to the top the view will be worth it........ ..... :bouquet: :bouquet: :bouquet:

The treatmeant will be very hard and draining on you both but there will be light at the end and that is what you must aim for. Going through it is bad enough but just as hard for the other person to watch and cope with. Give yourself a break, even if its just to have a cry outside with your animals. You cannot stay strong all the time. What your husband is having with  take a long time to recover from , he will be weak and very tired. Little steps each day will get him back on track and if his spirit is strong he will get there. Never give up and know that we are all praying for the best outcome for you both  :bouquet:
