Working Sheep dog needs new home
« on: April 18, 2011, 10:40:35 am »
hi all,
Sadly due to bereavement we have taken in 3 sheep dogs (in addition to my own three setters!).  Although we are currently coping with all six we have decided that one of the sheep dogs would be better rehomed as the resident eldest bitch really doesn't like her.

She is three years old and a smart black and white border collie, medium/short coated.  She is part trained to work sheep and can do some lovely work but sometimes can be more hindrance than help! I am sure with the right handler and more training she could improve.  However I dont think it would matter if she wasn't a working dog because as long as she has human companionship she is quite content.  She would be a very loyal friend to her people and is generally fine with other dogs especially male dogs!

If anyone is interested please PM me (PS we are in Yorkshire)
