Are there many Mangalitza pig owners on here?
I have 3! all registered was just wonder how may more are on this forum.

We are thinking of getting Mangolitza crossed with Berkshire this time from a breeder close to us. Do you think that will be a good cross?

Be an interesting looking one  Both are inclined to run to fat (but then so are most traditional breeds  ) so keep a careful eye on the feeding. You'll probably find less than the maximum 6lbs of food per day will be enough as Berkshires are a smaller pig, but play it by eye (and fingers) If you can feel ribs they're too skinny, if you can't feel the backbone they're too fat  Plenty of space to roam will help too.
