Heya, Im Ben, Sheps son, she reccomended this forum to me and its great   :)

Currently we've got 18 sheep, texels, texel x and a couple of suffolk x tex, 3 of which have lambed (2 twins and one with only 1 survivor) but will be getting around 40 more back when they have finished lambing elsewhere.
Ive been around sheep farming most of my life but can never know everything/enough!

I cant wait to pick your brains  ;D

Hi and welcome from the top end of Cumbria
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
