black orpingtons

i have a trio of blck orps that are june 2010 hatch
should they have started laying yet or could it be not laying because they are in the same pen as my two goats

my june hatch marans & LS only started laying last week, when we had a few mild days!
so dont panic yet  ;)

thanks for reply my 4 black silkies hatched same day started laying 3 weeks ago and getting 1-2 eggs a day from them so just wondered if goats where putting them off thanks will give them a bit longer

My Orps are from an Early May hatch and they have just started to lay - so far 6 eggs over the past two weeks - two to-day and they even laid them in them in the nest box :D :D hopefully the rest will get the message.

So be patient anytime now yours should start. :chook: :chook:
