Worming lambs

I turned out my Cades about a month ago but haven’t wormed them yet.

The field and sheep in there all look fine and have been wormed and fluked in March.

I am due to change fields in August. When should I be looking to worm them? I don’t want to worm them for the sake of it but equally don’t want to miss a window because of not being aware.

Take a fresh sample to your vet and get them to do a worm egg count. That will tell you if they need worming and the vet will say what wormer to use (white drench for nematodirus, yellow or clear for strongyles usually).
