After being on your site we thought it appropriate to let everybody know about us.   We discovered this site by accident(searching the Cally mart site and a link appeared and well here we are) we both come from a farming background and have some life experiences. Won't go into details but anything that has been printed so far pales into insignificance. We started with pigs nine years ago and now have 18. At one time we had 125. This year we bought Hampshire sheep to go with Hampshire pigs. We also do turkeys for Xmas all done now, thank god. We have one Shetland pony also 18 hens we appreciate that life can be cruel and lonely for some. In that respect we hope to bring a smile to those that read our posts and wonder at the cartons (the child bit never leaves you)even if it is our son that searches and posts the humour grovel grovel grovel(o well Lillian you have spent long enough in the bad baby corner) we hope our posts and advice(given from our own experiences)  do not offend to many fellow posters and the pms of encouragement and how we have lifted your spirits can continue. Come on Dan get this adult section started. We have a folder full of jokes et al and hope to meet the Scottish smallholders in 2011 and the English/Welsh and Irish on our travels   now remember we are only a phone call away or a pm away

Glad you enjoy the site and we look forward to learning from you and your experiences.

There won't be an "adult" section on the forums - we have no way of verifying peoples' ages so any "adult" matter will have to be saved for another forum.  ;D
