One eyed Bert

We have an adorable kitten called Bert.  He had a rocky start and has been playing catch up to his sister Betty since he was born. He also only has one eye which hasn't developed properly but he can see and runs around after toys and his sister.  He has also suffered from a runny snotty nose since he was tiny.  He has had a couple of courses of antibiotics but he still hasn't managed to shake it off.  Does anyone have any advice about cats and runny noses?  Any 'alternative' treatments to try rather than yet another course of antibiotics?  Bert is totally adorable and we are all smitten with him but I'm sure he could do without us all wiping his wee runny nose every 10 minutes!! Many thanks.  ;)

if the anitbiotics havent made a difference, and he has an undeveloped eye.... maybe he has a sinus / tear duct problem?
has the vet checked all his face for deformities? (I imagine an x-ray or whatever would cost a fortune!)

has he tried antihistimines?

our little Alfie had a gungy eye when we had them, and gets very wet eyes when its windy, or even if I've just changed the litter-tray...I think its the dust when its poured in!
he's grown out of the worst of it, so there's hope for young Bert ;)

?got a picture of them?   :)

Sounds like it may be a blockage, maybe something to do with the eye as an infection usualy would clear after antibiotics but if there is something there, it will keep weeping. Hug for Bert (())
