Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone could recommend an Insurance Company that do trailer Insurance?


Previously my trailer was insured with NFU along with my truck. However when I changed my truck for a newer one NFU tried to increase my premium to around twice as much as most other companies and will not insure a trailer on its own.


Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

We had our big box van trailer insured with Shield but it wasn't cheap- just checked the last premium and it was £271. It covered the trailer only (so no contents) for theft and accidental damage and was covered in France, which can be a pretty risky place to drive in.
