Sheep with damaged leg
« on: March 31, 2019, 03:02:42 pm »
Hi,I have a step and see with a damaged back leg.She was chased by a dog ,unfortunately I did not see what happened. The vet said it is not broken but she does not want to put any weight on it.When she stands up and raised the leg it moves in over. She can get up herself and has had a pair of healthy twins which she can't feed,we are bottle feeding them.It happened a week ago..Any thoughts ???

I would give her some painkiller and let nature take it's course. What did the vet suggest?
