Police at my door
« on: May 08, 2012, 11:13:21 pm »
Doorbell went today and it was a WPC I know, a sheep had been attacked by an Alsation and they thought it might be one of mine. Turns out it wasn't it belonged to a neighbour, so I put it safe 'til he could collect it.
What surprised me was the Police reaction when I said I'd happily shoot any dog chasing my sheep. They were all for it. I suppose it can take up a lot of their time dealing with attacks and if the dog is shot that takes care of it once and for all.
Anyway they were very glad of my help, I think that was only because I got covered in blood not them.
