Weight Gain

Hi.  My GG has had a dental access which has  resulted in her losing  a lot of weight quite quickly because she wasn't eating. She's on the mend now, although I'm still bathing the wound every day, but she needs to regain all the weight she's lost.  Would you recommend just upping the quantity of her feed or is there something else out there like goat Complan (for those of you who are old enough to remember that!)  Intuitively I feel she should be having something softer than hard feed like sugar beet because the area must still be quite tender.  I would very much welcome your advice. TIA
