Have you sourced your goats already? I know of someone who is selling a nice little milker, BS x GG as far as I know and milking at the moment, but not too much. May have kid(s) with her, but not sure.

I have a BT goatling for sale, still have to get her advertised, she would be going to the billy for the first time this autumn, with kidding next spring.

His goats weren't that old. The younger one (I forget her name) was only a year old when he got her, so must only be 2 years old now. She could easily be put in kid.

There is a lady that lives in Cupar who breeds Golden Guernsey's, though I haven't heard from her in a couple of years (still get a Christmas card though) Tracy Jordan- she works at William Jordan & Son (Funeral Directors) Limited of Cupar, you should be able to find her through that. Christine Watt is in Kelty, Bill and Margaret Scott are at Leven, the Grieve's live at Coaltown of Balgonie, but I think may only have an couple of old lady goats left- they stopped breeding a few years ago. I can give you numbers for everyone except not sure if I have Tracy's still. Might have a mobile for her.

There might be more..... can't think now!

Dizzy1pig - have you got the two Muircock girls from James Lindsay? Definitely worth trying to breed from them, they are good stock! The younger one was bought as a kid, so the should be two now and her mum should be 4?

I bought mine from the Dickinsons the same year, and think my pair were the same age. (Then) kid now just had her first kids herself.

I like all the sincerity in here as I am referred to as "he"!!

Anyway, "he" is not putting his G.G's to kid.

The witches of Fife can put their thinking caps back in to their cauldron...  :-* :-*

Actually Laura have you tried the SPCA offices?

That's a bit sad, because they are good quality stock, and all the Muircock goats are really maternal. My (4year old) Ella still shares her pen with her (2year old) daughter, only separated for a few weeks for kidding, and both together have their offspring in the pen (sometimes).
