Very cute..what do you have to do next? Phone DEFRA to get their individual number for their tags? Just something I don't know and will need to when willow kids

When you applied for your holding number you should also have been also given a herd number.  This is the  one you use for your ear tags.

No Carl, the herd number is used on the tags and individual number. The individual number isn't given to you exactly- you just have to start with number 1. It usually appears on the tags as 000001. But you phone to order tags tell them it's for your first livestock, and they'll probably send you 1-10. Remember to make sure and get the applicators for the gas as well.
