Watch the secateurs Fleece, I did that with my last 'sheep coat' - it pocked a hole in the corner of the pocket and then the snotty tissues leaked out through the hole completing my 'bag lady' look  ::)  then with best intentions of sewing it, I actually did lose the car keys through the hole.

Eventually one of the ponies smelt a bread bag in there one day and ripped the whole pocket off like some slapstick trick.

Oh, and you don't want to impale yourself on jaggy pockets now, nasty  ;D

It's ok my secateurs have a blunt end, but my OH does tend to carry foot shears in his pockets, which is ok until he rugby tackles the sheep he wants to catch.........

I was just thinking what fun the writers of CSI or similar would have with the contents of our pockets.  They could identify first of all what things actually were - little red rubber rings  ???  - then from there what the occupation of the victim was, then just which animals he/she keeps, and what they grow, then find the right smallholding to fit the bill, then identify the DB.  It sounds as if most of us have enough in our pockets to make an ID  :roflanim:

Glad to know it's not just me carries the odd egg in my pocket and forgets it's there...  ::)

Most of my jackets now have pockets so ripped they'll hold nothing reliably, so I can only carry what'll fit in my jeans pockets.  Orange rings, of course (did you know that handspinners  :knit: carry these now? they fit most flyer shafts as bobbin spacers - can't think who would have been spreading that trick around :innocent:), baler string of course, never without a pocket knife, ditto large cotton hanky, usually got the mobile phone.  Hay and straw bits yes, though more in trouser turnups and wellies.  Otherwise I mostly only have hazardous items picked up to avoid ingestion by curious ruminants. ::)  Including torn-out eartags.  Yes, all guaranteed to never fall out... ::)

Tizz - in your dreams  ::)

Mammyshaz - where's that waggling finger emotiwotsit?!

Found a wallet with £600 in it two diamond rings in matching boxes and a porsche key set .
Thought " Oh my god I've got someone elses jacket "   went back inside the venue and handed in the jacket and was escorted along the racks to find mine as I'd handed in the ticket .

Then I woke up with our dog licking my face  ;)
