Royal welsh show
« on: July 08, 2012, 09:52:20 pm »
I have heard today that they may cancel the show SURELY NOT the reason being that most of the carparks still need to be harvested, please let the sun shine so they can bring the harvest in. :fc:

They have now cut the grass and with any luck the ground will dry out.

This is the best show in Europe it has to take place, theres been lots of muddy car parks over the last 10 years and people still support the Royal Welsh with crowds of over 250,000. :fc:

If they can clear a car park full of ravers in a few hours at the big dance events with just a couple of tractors and some die hard customers with 4x4 - I am sure they will manage in a show that has hundreds of tractor enthusiats attending and hundreds of big arse tractors round the place.

Its about time they took it on the chin and got some ali track ways down on the ground too for the event.

I have heard a rumour that if the weather continues to be disgusting, the RWAS will be held for the first day and then the rest of the days will be cancelled. This means that the committee can claim off their insurance. If they cancel before the event then they can't claim.
