My usual supplyer for woodflour has let me down so now i am in need of woodflour for the 2013 show season. Does anyone have any contacts that may have woodflour for sale?

Suppliers wanted anywhere in the country. Thanks

www.waldburgshires.co.uk

go to the sales section its in the misc.

we usually try and buy from the shows because our local suppliers don't stock it either.
we can still learn if we are willing to listen.

Thanks for the link. Do you happen to know the quantity that the wood flour is sold? and What quantity do you think would last the show season? I should need 10-15 pigs worth of wood flour - what ever that equates to.

depends on how many shows your doing and how many days the shows are over.

I think at that price its a full size bale rather than the 1/2 you could always phone them.

how much do you usually use during a season ? 10-15 pigs is a big show team

No my show team is not 10-15 pigs, I'm not silly. it will be around 3 pigs in my show team but going to around 5 shows more than likely. thanks for you help.

Wood flour is used to help dry pigs after a bath but also to help keep pigs white/clean (its my understanding that it only comes from white wood.).

in that case 1 bale should see you through the season ...........even if we have another wet one  :fc: :sunshine: this year.
