Do wethers still try to mount ewes?

Do wethers try to mount ewes? Or do we have a rig? Getting confused now about the 'teaser' thing.
And if a ewe is being mounted (in this instance by a wether), is it an indicator that she is in season?

No but it depends is he jumping on her back or thrusting ?     Don't know until you catch him and have a look underneath  ?      Maybe but again is he thrusting and following her all day ?

Not following. Just seems to be having a good sniff and jumping up. The ewes walk off none too impressed and he's down again......

Mine never do....the only involvement they do is sometimes be a bit obstructive to the ram if he is a visiting one rather than one of our own, but even then they just stand in the way while their glasses steam up :-DD they never do any mounting.
