Thanks for all of the kind offers but we have decided to use a dog transport courier, he will be collected from our place and dropped off at the house in Fetterangus  so only the one van all of the way  :thumbsup:

Simplest method, hope it doesn't cost your rescue society too much.  The courtiers do a special deal for rescues sometimes.

It's costing us £150  from door to door  they could have done it cheaper if we had waited for another run heading that way but this is  him being the only dog in the van

This has all fallen through so the poor dog will be looking for a home again  :(

i didnt know dog couriers existed. we went 400 miles for our pup, then broke down on the way home. was a nightmare.
who do you recommend?

We where going to use Paws on the road http://www.pawsontheroad.co.uk/ heard some good reports about them

What a shame - hope you find a new home fro him soon.  What happened?  Just a change of heart or was the long journey a step too far?  Where is he just now?

They decided the journey would be too much as after getting to fetterangus he then had a 6hr ferry journey
He is here with us
