Wanted driving/riding horse, Yorkshire'ish
« on: December 26, 2017, 08:03:32 pm »
Ebor Vale RDA group is looking for a ride and drive horse around 15 hands (+/- 2 inches)  We are based near York but are prepared to travel for the right animal.  We have a reasonable but not extravegant budget.

We are not looking for a great competion prospect, perhaps something that is not suitable for a competative home?  Our riders/drivers range from tiny tots to military veterans.  We do very little cantering and no jumping within the group.

Ideally aged 7-13 years and must have been regularly driven for a minimum of one year.  No sweet itch, laminitis or other such problems.  Must be able to live out.  Mare or gelding but no stallions.  Must be sane and sensible and not needing to be worked everyday to stay so.

We offer a knowledgeable home with other horses/ponies, many of which stay with us for many years.

Please email details to me at penduk@outlook.com  Thank you

Probably worth checking - or even advertising on - the Dales Pony Sales List. Good luck!
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
