WE HAVE FOUND BELLA!
Well we know where she is in Kent, the traveller site behind Darenth Valley Hospital, we know the name of the person who has her, his full description and vehicle.
But... so far Kent police can't collect as Essex police haven't sent an email, trying to get Essex police to send an email is like getting blood from a stone. They are actively trying to sell her so not sure we will get her back. We have been advised that traveller site is not one to approach by their liason officer.
(Although it has to be your decision of course, and you might not want to risk it), If it were me, I would go there. Our local site at our last house was one which the police would only go into with helicopters and armed back up. But if we were looking for a missing animal we would go in there and talk to the occupants. They are far more hostile to the police coming in than they are to ordinary people, especially a woman, though they will try to bluff it out and will also prob demand an enormous figure for its return.
We can be PC about 'making assumptions' but the white vans with false plates (often shared between a number of 'pool' vehicles at the site) is the classic operating style of the less reputable members of the travelling community and was certainly the method used by our local site eg when flytipping (block lane at both ends with 2 transits to prevent being filmed) or burgling sheds (seen by us), and the disinclination of the police to go in without assembling a posse first just gives ample opportunity for stolen goods to be spirited away, wanted suspects to be removed from the scene etc.
I am keeping all fingers crossed that Bella is returned safe and sound.
