How much for a working hive? - Update
« on: March 20, 2012, 08:35:22 am »
OH wasn't prepared to pay what the lady was asking so offered £80 for the two colonies. He doesn't want the homemade hives.

She had accepted and we are picking them up this evening. Yipee

She is lending us their original hives so that we can get ourselves sorted. We already have one vacant WBC hive and now need to find another.

During the current Bee Economics of supply and demand raising the price of a single nuc to over £200 that is an extremely good price.  Hats off to hubby.
