Kids are here - at long last
« on: March 12, 2011, 10:25:24 am »
I seem to have been reading kidding posts for ages and not we have our first two. After constant and regular checking, Piper delivered 2 kids all on her own very swiftly between my visits. Up to feed and something white in the goats shed, ran over and their was 2 kids in the straw, all clean and beautiful - missed it all and so glad they were ok - and 2 little girls. So glad heat lamp as all set up and just had to switch on.

Well done! It's typical- there you are on tenderhooks, and she goes and has them all on her own! They are cute. Do you have another one to kid?

Yes, 2 more any day now and another in about a month, so I'd like to order some nice sunny weather please.

Decided on Brucklay Cloud for the light one and Brucklay Comet for the Blue - and yes I have people wanting girls but ....... as they are the first this year .... maybe I can keep one so Piper is happy, at the moment just enjoying the fact they are happy, healthy and doing what they are supposed to do with virtually no interference from me - although I watch a lot
