Looking for some pigs...weaners?
« on: October 14, 2009, 08:06:51 pm »
Having fairly recently started the whole 'country life' bit, we now have horses, chickens and sheep.  Next on our list is to get some pigs.  Everyone tells us spring is the best time.  Does anyone know of anywhere in the Fife/Tayside area that I can approach please?

My sow's just literally had a litter of pigglies which will be available in about 8 weeks (I think).

She's a Berkshire x Saddleback and the Sire was a Tamworth with a wee bit of wild boar in him.

We had cracking piglets off her last year which were well grown and very tasty!  :yum:

Our pure Tamworth sow is also due any day to the same boar.

We're just between Perth and Dundee.  Let me know if you're interested.
