hi,all can you help i 2 hens and seem to have some leg probes IE looks like the scales seem Tobe lifting do not know wont to do ???thanks all

That's probably scaly leg mite.  I dipped them in white spirit then smeared vaseline all over the legs.  That stuns them then smothers them. if you leave it they will eventually kill the bird

i have soaked the legs in surgical spirit and put vaseline on them hope this helps folks ???

You can google this condition - in serious cases drops of a drug with the ingredient ivermectin can be put onto the neck. You can get this from your vet if the petroleum jelly doesn't work. And there's this stuff too - http://www.pandtpoultry.co.uk/product/categoryid/18/productid/1504
