wanted - solar panel for experiment

Hi i know this is a long shot, but i'm looking for a very cheap solar panel that someone no longer has a use for, that i can try out an experiment with.....any suggestions would be feb  :bunny:

Solar panels have gotten very cheap compared with what they used to be (I'm assuming your talking about solar PV not thermal). I managed to get some big (235w) panels for ~55p/w brand new.

for an experiment you could buy some loose cells (sold for diy panel making) on ebay which are cheap

if it's just an experiment could you not borrow one (or is the experiment destructive).

It shouldn't be destructive, but i don't know anyone around here with any that i could borrow.  I'll check out ebay, thanks
