They must be OK, they have posted but are shown as guests.  I think there is a gremlin somewhere!

Sorry...no reply from Julie to my email, but it didn't bounce back either, so perhaps they are having computer problems...although that doesn't explain the loss of membership status...come on Dan/Rosemary...throw some light on the matter!  If there's no word in the next 24 hours, I'm for contacting Interpol...or the Salvation Army...or 'where are they now' on friends reunited...or ...

I belong to another forum ( the same format as this one)  and people show as guests if they have deleted their accounts or if for some reason they have been banned.  People are usually banned if they post something offensive - usually for a week or a month.  The moderators are the ones whodo the banning.

Neither of them are offensive - both of them are really good people so that's not the reason.  Wonder what has happened?

Hello all

Julie and Joe chose to delete their profile, and had their reasons for doing so - nothing nefarious or scandalous I hasten to add! As Over the Gate said it's a bit of a hari kari option, and all of your posts are maintained as 'Guest' posts.

They will be back 'at some stage in the future' (Joe's words) and we sincerely hope it's not too far into the future.   :(
