Easter egg live and hairy bikers
« on: April 01, 2013, 09:28:14 pm »
Not quite all birds eggs so chucked this in here.  Just watched two super programmes and I hardly watch much TV at all!
The Hairy Bikers showed a piece about the last remaining true Breeder of Aylesbury ducks Richard something - it was great seeing the chicks being free to roam from early on, not sure I'd have had them in the house but that may have been just for effect. And because of his method of despatching he could only sell within 20 miles.

Then I switched to Easter Egg live on 4 and was fascinated at all the different species that laid eggs - not just birds, but snails, turtles, frogs, butterflies etc.

Don't really fancy the snail caviar though but not sure why.
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age
