Heart Murmer - update
« on: July 17, 2012, 06:31:00 pm »
Archie went to see the heart specialist today. She listened to the heart and spent about an hour scanning him, taking measurements from the scan etc.
Her initial thoughts are that she really can't find a problem although there could be a slight leak to one valve which is probably due to his physiology but its not a problem.
Tonight she is going to check the scan measurements she took against the same measurements for other poodles for breed consistency and if they are ok, as she suspects they will be, then we are in the clear.  :fc:

Sounding very promising.   :fc: for you both.

Brilliant news!

(I do sort of think that this is what I predicted pet insurance would go 10 years ago....more treatment because it's being paid for)  Not aimed at you at all as I would do the same, I hasten to add.
