I'm also recommending Daysdrove in Bishops Castle, Shropshire. They did my boar at the beginning of august, killed, butchered and sausages in total came to £94. He killed out at 61kg. The sausages are delicious. ;)
Silly Spangled Appenzellers, Dutch bantams, Lavender Araucanas, a turkey called Alistair, Muscovy ducks and Jimmy the Fell pony. No pig left in the freezer, we ate him all!

I have 4 abattoirs listed in Derbyshire

Derbyshire   Buxton   F Redfern
Derbyshire   Chesterfield   R B Elliott & Son
Derbyshire   Glossop   J W Mettrick
Derbyshire   Swadlincote   G Collier

Of these I have a recommendation for J W Metrick as being "very nice and helpful", though Glossop is a bit of a distance.

Let us know how you get on. The one in Swadlincote is nearest for me so I'm very keen to know if it's recommended.

Hi,

For anyone in North Yorkshire, we use BW & DJ Glaves in Brompton by Sawdon. They are about half way between Pickering & Scarborough.
They are very helpful, treat animals well when unloading. Would highly recommend

They slaughter and butcher on the premises, they also have a great shop. All theri meat and pies are delicious.

Another vote of confidence for Daysdrove Abattoir in Bishops Castle.

The whole experience was friendly, unhurried and relaxed. The pigs were well treated and there was no squealing. They were put into large pens with plenty of straw.

We met another person there unloading his pigs and got chatting to him. He had some lovely Welsh pigs so we took his number and will probably have a couple of his next year.

So - pigs away "safely" and a bit of networking into the bargain.

Result!!!

Susanna

Very pleased.

I deliver pigs and wild boar twice a week to the Laverstoke Abattoir Hants, the stock are well treated, the service is of the best I have had in the past.

We use CH Rowley Ltd at Old Arley, Fillongley, nr Coventry.  Definitely recommended, they slaughter pigs on a Monday and also butcher and make fantastic sausage.  I don't think you have any listed in this area yet, it would come under North Warwickshire.
