I'm looking in to some utility chickens, I am thinking of welsummer over Indian game hens
Has anyone tried this cross? If so what did you think if it?
If anyone has any other suggestions I'd be glad to hear them.
Thank you in advance

Not tried indian game with welsummers but have used indian game cock with sussex hen.  The result was a good sized hen and a bantam sized hen, dont know why, parents the same.  Crossed with a black rock, by accident, all hens have good breast meat but we use them for broodies and eggs.  Make fantastic mums. Not eaten any yet as they are good layers.
